Who We Are

Seres is a Guatemalan for-benefit nonprofit organization that was founded in 2009 by Executive Director Corrina Grace. The organization is made up of a dedicated group of individuals who are passionate about “walking the talk” and practicing sustainability in action, and are dedicated to helping other people discover this pathway through a process of engagement, education and empowerment.

The Seres leadership comprises a Board of Directors, Advisory Committee and the Seres Colectivo.

Board of Directors

The current members of the Board of Directors are: Emily Grace (Australia), Corrina Grace (Guatemala), Sherry Miller (Guatemala), Rowan Peck (Australia) and José Toriello (Guatemala).

Seres Colectivo

The members of the Seres Colectivo are young (and young-at-heart) sustainability leaders and change-makers from Central America who are dedicated to the work that Seres does. Their commitment is first and foremost to engage in sustainable livings in their daily lives, and then to help Seres reach out to as many people as possible within their communities. While the Board of Directors is the head of Seres, the Colectivo is our heart – ensuring that we are always listening and responding to the needs of the community in order to serve them best.
